About Me

haircut

I developed a love of journalism as a freshman in high school and was Editor-In-Chief of my school’s newspaper. I decided to further pursue my interest by majoring in journalism at The Ohio State University, where I was fortunate to receive a full-tuition scholarship to help make my education at OSU possible.

My freshman year at Ohio State I decided to become involved with the student newspaper, The Lantern, and remained an active reporter for three years. I also wrote for the OSU branch of an online magazine called Her Campus.

While in college I interned for TheCelebrityCafe.com (an entertainment news website), at the OSU Moritz College of Law, and for Ohio Magazine. I developed skills for online reporting, news briefs and short-form and long-form magazine features.

I graduated a semester early in Dec. 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism (and a minor in criminology).

I now work as an editorial assistant at First for Women and its sister publications at Bauer Publishing in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
